Nourish Whistler Wellness Series on Pain Relief & Holistic Well-being

At Creekside Health, managing pain is a primary reason many of our patients seek us out. As an integrative clinic, we combine modalities and practices from both ancient wisdom and modern medicine to offer comprehensive strategies for holistic well-being.

We are thrilled to announce a special wellness event as part of the Nourish Whistler Wellness Series at Wedge Mountain Lodge & Spa. Join us for an enlightening panel discussion that explores pain management techniques through the lenses of Eastern and Western medicine. Creekside Health’s own Dr. Sarah Pankratz, MD, Dr. Claire Wilson, ND, and Dr. Dominique Vallee, Dr.TCM, R.Ac, will lead the discussion. This will be followed by a four-course meal crafted by Executive Chef Bill Grimshaw, perfectly aligning with our theme of holistic health. Don't miss this unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of pain management, integrative health approaches and meet like-minded people from the Sea to Sky and beyond.

Dr. Claire Wilson is a Naturopathic Physician and has a passion for treating injuries & chronic pain, and strives to evaluate her patients through an integrative lens. In addition to your injury, Dr Wilson wants to hear about YOU - your hormones, your nutrition, your sleep, etc - as she values the influence these factors have on your recovery. As an outdoor enthusiast herself, she is a walking textbook of injuries, which has led to her dedication to creating sustainable pain relief solutions for her patients. Dr. Wilson has completed extensive continuing education & training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, functional dry needling/acupuncture, prolotherapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy, neural therapy, and myofascial integration. She practices from a patient-centred philosophy that involves individualized care, evidence-based therapeutics, and consistent patient education.

Dr. Sarah Pankratz is a family physician at Whistler’s Creekside Health and trained at the University of British Columbia. She advocates for a holistic, patient-centred approach to pain management. Early in her career, Dr. Pankratz commuted from Pemberton to Delta, where she developed her expertise in chronic pain treatment, specializing in trigger point and perineural injections. She believes that understanding pain is the first step in a patient's journey toward managing and treating it effectively.

Dr. Dominique Vallée is a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncturist, studied at ICTMV. She believes there is always something that can be done for pain. She believes true health encompasses mind, body & spirit. If one gets affected the others lose their balance and the wheel of health starts to break down. Dr. Vallée looks at the patient and their pain as a whole.
