Dr. Dominique Vallée
Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Registered Acupuncturist & Creekside Health Co-Founder
On Maternity Leave
“I believe that true health encompasses mind, body & spirit. If one gets affected the others lose their balance and the wheel of health starts to break down. Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the patient as a whole.
I help my patients by giving them the individual care and treatments that they need while giving them tools and lifestyle advice that can help them live in a healthy balance.”
- Dr. Dominique Vallée
Dr. Vallée has been exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) most of her life. She started utilizing the benefits of TCM as a professional snowboarder & Olympian to help with her injuries and quickly felt the incredible benefits it had on her overall health from boosting her immunity to releasing stress. After 11 years of competing for the Canadian Snowboard Team, she discovered a growing passion for medicine. The individual approach and being able to treat the root of the problem instead of the symptoms are what attracted Dominique to pursue her studies in TCM here in Vancouver.
Dr. Vallée assesses each patient by connecting with them personally, by asking specific questions while taking the pulse and looking at the tongue for a complete understanding and diagnosis before starting the treatment. She combines acupuncture, personalized herbal formulas, cupping, diet & lifestyle advice as a complete treatment plan.
