Sophie Hopkins, RMT
Registered Massage Therapy
Sophie incorporates relaxation, body movement and breath into massages.
She fell in love with the benefits of human touch and the profound effect it has on someone’s physical and mental well-being. She incorporates a lot of myofascial releases, Thai/Shiatsu movements and stretches into massages. And she slowly works the breath into treatments to allow you to get deeper releases without pain.
Originally from the UK, Sophie travelled around the world massaging and teaching yoga on cruise ships, yachts, islands massaging and teaching yoga to guests. A six-month backpacking adventure through South East Asia and India brought her to Chang Mai where she studied Thai massage and deepened her massage training.
“And I said to my body softly, I want to be your friend,” it took a long breath and replied, I’ve been waiting my whole life for this.“

Anything! I’m not shy and love to learn, so if I don’t know, come back to me in 7 business days. Oh, and all things cats! Or animals in general—any and all of them.

You’ll find me sipping special coffees at the Roundhouse—haha! But honestly, I’m still getting into my snowboard groove, so I stick to spots that avoid cat tracks.

I love treating postural dysfunction and incorporating relaxation techniques, body movement, and breath into massage. Eventually, I’d like to specialize in pelvic care—I believe it’s essential to talk about and continuously learn in this area.
